Cinnamon Spice Mocha Frappe

don't consider myself the over-the-top crazy types but I do sometimes do some real crazy stuff. A good example would be to get hubby to drive to the nearest 24 hour Walgreen at half after midnight to get sour cream so I can bake the egg less cake that I just thought about. But the one that tops my charts is driving to an ice-cream store in the middle of winter and having ice-cream to my heart's content. In the first couple of years of our marriage, hubby used to look at my funny but poor guy still obliged. Now I think he's gotten used to my ways and willingly agrees. Well look at the bright side, he gets to eat cake and ice-cream ;) And then again to defend myself, I have to believe there are a few of you out there that identify with me... come on...
Anyway, on similar lines, the other day when it was freezing over here and I was craving cold coffee. I've had the Mocha Frappuchino a few times at the local Starbucks. Did not want to take the drive so figured I'd make for myself on similar lines with whatever I had at the time in the pantry.

Ingredients: serves 4
Strong brewed coffee .......................... 2 cups chilled (or 2 1/2 tbsp instant coffee powder mixed with 2 cups of hot water  and chilled)
Chocolate syrup ................................. 4 tbsp (I used Hershey's)
Milk ............................................... 3/4 cup chilled ( I used 2%)
Vanilla ice-cream ............................... 2- 3 scoops
Ice cubes ........................................ 1/4 cup
Cinnamon powder .............................. 1/4 tsp
Whipped cream ................................ as needed (optional)
Method:
1. Pour chilled coffee, milk, and chocolate syrup, ice cubes into a blender, blend for a minute. Add ice-cream, cinnamon and blend together for a minute. Pour into coffee mugs or tall glasses. Top with whipped cream, cinnamon, chocolate shavings/syrup. Sit back n ENJOY!
Notes:
1. This drink is very suitable to be made ahead and refrigerated. Blend and keep in the refrigerator, when ready to serve pour in glasses top with whipped cream and chocolate and enjoy the compliments :)

Oh yes...the midnight ice cream runs. My husband can understand it well. His only question will be pistachio almond or coconut pineapple?? The Frappe looks better than any ever ordered fast. :)

Oh my gosh beautiful no words to say..how did u made that design....

@ Harika- Thanks dear and welcome to my virtual kitchen :)
Making the design actually is really simple. you just have to hold the glass under a stream of chocolate syrup. Just rotate the glass slowly while you pour the syrup. Hope that helps :)
